Although in retrospect I’m a little mortified by the red leather pants, my little “Linger” moment on Letterman was a top ten highlight. I remember thinking all the way through the song, “Did I screw it up yet? Didn’t I already sing this chorus? Why is it so cold in here?” When I made it to the chair? Heaven.
